I don’t have a lot to say about this other than when you recap you say wtf happened. Was it the media, pedophilia, owning the elephant man’s bones that haunted Michael Jackson, was he a robot? Plot: A movie that starts out with the “Man in the Mirror” music video, it then changes to a montage of video clips of Michael’s career. Next comes a parody of his Bad video by children, and then Michael is chased by fans in a fantasy sequence. 2 more videos are shown, and then a movie in which Michael plays a hero with magical powers. In it he is chased by drug dealer Mr. Big and saves three children. Videos included in the movie are “Smooth Criminal” and “Come Together”.

Here’s horror flick that’s still at the box office. This is a cam, but it looks quite watchable, probably for obvious reasons. Quarantine is a 2008 American horror film directed by John Erick Dowdle and starring Jennifer Carpenter. The film is a remake of the Spanish horror film [REC]. I haven’t watched it yet but 6.5/10 on imdb is better than average so screw it i put it here.

Television reporter Angela Vidal (Carpenter) and her cameraman (Harris) are assigned to spend the night shift with a Los Angeles Fire Station. After a routine 911 call takes them to a small apartment building, they find police officers already on the scene in response to blood curdling screams coming from one of the apartment units. They soon learn that a woman living in the building has been infected by something unknown. After a few of the residents are viciously attacked, they try to escape with the news crew in tow, only to find that the CDC has quarantined the building. Phones, internet, televisions and cell phone access have been cut-off, and officials are not relaying information to those locked inside. When the quarantine is finally lifted, the only evidence of what took place is the news crew’s videotape.

Downloaded this because it wasn’t in at blockbuster, very reminiscent of “High Tension”, the scene with the cow made me laugh. Typical 2006 summer horror/psych thrill flick with the twist being the earnest belief that drugs make everything that much cooler. Good movie to watch on shrooms im sure, the effects were straight. The main magnet of the movie is Lindsey Haun, a fairly attractive blonde playing the main role. Nothing spectacular, but also not a generic “B” movie…

Plot: Having been promised the ‘trip’ of a lifetime by their Irish friend and mushroom expert Jake, a group of American teenagers arrives in Ireland, keen for adventure. Despite Jake’s warnings about the ’shrooms they shouldn’t eat, things start to go horribly wrong and the teenagers suffer horrific visions. The panicked friends are attacked by ghostly creatures, never sure whether they are experiencing gruesome reality or startling hallucinations. As the group is bloodily whittled down to one, it is soon clear that, whether or not these apparitions are real, the carnage they leave behind certainly is.

A long time favorite of my own, the Machinist pulls out all the stops and make you feel the delirium of the main character. Mr. Bale’s dedication to his movie roles are unsurpassed. He has gone down from 180 pounds to 120 pounds for his part in this 2004 film, before gaining it all back and then some for his buff superhero role of Batman in Batman Begins, just a year after. Yes, the skeleton in the picture is no other than Bale himself. About the movie, it is a well received mystery thriller that has a very cool tone to it. Aparently this movie has been big shit, and i got some requests to make this post. The group OBSESSiON comes out of the underground to quickly release the first scene version of the highly anticipated Cloverfield. I haven’t seen it yet, so i can’t tell you whether or not it’s that great. The Release is a Telesync meaning that it has been recorded with a handheld camera at the cinema so its not great quality, but is what most would call “watchable”. Although it has got dupe frames so it will seem like the image is running a little slow. Audio is better and comes from a direct source so although far from perfect it will do the job just fine. If you cant wait for anything better leech, unrar, smoke up, watch and enjoy! If you have any other qestions, have a look at the NFO.
