Plot: New Jack City written by Thomas Lee Wright, is a story focused on real-life Detroit gang about the Chambers brothers. A crime lord ascends to power and becomes megamanical while a maverick police detective vows to stop him. Even thought i haven’t seen this movie yet, it looks like blade is in it so, i would go and watch it. OH! and that dude from law and order…the one where people always get raped. ICE-T MAN! ALSO the dude that plays a donkey in Madagascar… i think hes in rush hour too, wait.. that was Chris rock. Well that pretty much sums up the cast. The director, Mario Van Peebles (who happens to look like DMC), has won 6 awards and received 10 nominations. This movie alone has received an award along with 3 nominations.

Even thought movie only won one award, it was nominated for 3 others…but DIDN’T win….so what does that tell you. So maybe go watch a movie by M. Night Shyamalan… hes got a really cool name. Shyamalan is a proud director nominated for 2 Oscars with another 9 wins & 19 nominations its pretty crazy…but he has nothing to do with this movie, so moving on.
