Here’s already the Telesync version for Saw V. The file is a bit over sized but what do you want, it’s a new release. Now I only ever saw the first one, so i cannot say for a fact whether this is worth watching… but if you’ve ever watched a “Faces of Death” when you were in middle school I’m sure this would be somewhat entertaining. Strahm follows all the leads he can get off Hoffman, including the death of his sister and why he joined Jigsaw. Hoffman and Strahm circle each other until it boils down to a gruesome and bone-crushing finale.

On another note, i’ve recently decided how i feel about mashup while talked to my friend sam… it’s soulless. Like crack. Just as popular too. A remix is one thing… but when you find that an attention deficit promoting 45 minute album has been in your player for 2 weeks it’s time to check yourself. Sure I’m a little guilty it’s true, but i’m steadily trading in my girltalk, super mash bros, ludachrist, and other for a more classic jam. From now on I think I’m gonna have to keep it reserved for the party, the club, you know… i’m still psyched for the november 11th girltalk show at the crofoot.

so yeah.. Evolution Control Committee, don’t know where it came from… just found it on my hard drive during a party shuffle, and i happen to have a full album. dude btw, wtf is with itunes “genius”, how soon after i turn it on will the federalis be knocking down my door?

The U.S. intelligence community is concerned that terrorists might use micro-blogging tool Twitter to coordinate attacks, according to a purported draft Army intelligence report posted on the Web. The report–present by the 304th Military Intelligence Battalion and posted to the Federation of American Scientists Web site–examines the possible ways terrorists could use mobile and Web technologies such as the Global Positioning System, digital maps, and Twitter mashups to plan and execute terrorist attacks. The report (PDF), which appears to have been first presented earlier this month, was reported Friday by Wired magazine’s Noah Shachtman.

A chapter titled “Potential for Terrorist Use of Twitter,” presents general, introductory information on Twitter and how it works, and describes how the service was used to report details of a recent earthquake in Los Angeles and by activists at the Republican National Convention. “Twitter has also become a social activism tool for socialists, human rights groups, communists, vegetarians, anarchists, religious communities, atheists, political enthusiasts, hacktivists and others to communicate with each other and to send messages to broader audiences,” the report said. The report describes hacktivists as politically motivated hackers. However, the overview notes that the research used to generate the report was gathered from open source intelligence and not compared with information in classified venues.

U.S. is fucked. Why is this in the news… is it news that a terrorist might used technology to plan an attack. I’m going to see if I can find and follow terrorist on twitter. Why don’t they just use facebook? “Hussein has invited you to the ‘Detonate at noon!’ group”.

If you’re reading my blog, you’ve most likely already seen this film… or at least some part of me would like to believe those who subscribe to my spatial banter have. It won Japanese film of the year back in 2001. I think i saw it that year or maybe 2002, regardless it’s as timeless as AKIRA, and just as fulfilling. If it doesn’t move you, you probably don’t watch cartoons, which makes you a fag, and not the cool kind. Hayao Miyazaki is a master of the trade and will go on in history as one of the greatest animators who ever lived. He is known for such classics as Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke… etc.

Two of his more recent releases that I have not seen include Howl’s Moving Castle (2004), and Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea (2008). I’m downloading Howl’s Moving Castle tonight cause it looks beautiful, I’ll let you know how it goes.

I plan on succeeding this post with Princess Mononoke, AKIRA, and Grave of The Fireflies, My Neighbor Totoro, and perhaps even Triplets of Belleville. It’ll be a goddamn asian explosion… minus Triplettes De Belleville, which is french. Think dragon roll with fries on the side.

Plot: Chihiro and her family are on their way to their new house in the suburbs when her father decides to take a shortcut along a lonely-looking dirt road. After getting out of the car and walking along a path for a while, they discover an open-air restaurant filled with food but with no workers or customers present. Mom and Dad don’t hesitate to sit down and dig in, but Chihiro senses danger and refuses. As night falls, she is terrified to see the area fill with faceless spirits, but when she runs to find her parents, she discovers that they have been turned into pigs. She is found by a mysterious boy named Haku, who promises to help her. He gets her a job working in a nearby building, which turns out to be a bathhouse for the thousands of Japan’s gods and spirits. Though the work is hard and the people strange, she does as well as she can. Her parents, however, are still waiting in the hotel’s stockyard, and Chihiro must find a way to break the spell on them before they end up as the main course of some guest’s dinner.

Here’s horror flick that’s still at the box office. This is a cam, but it looks quite watchable, probably for obvious reasons. Quarantine is a 2008 American horror film directed by John Erick Dowdle and starring Jennifer Carpenter. The film is a remake of the Spanish horror film [REC]. I haven’t watched it yet but 6.5/10 on imdb is better than average so screw it i put it here.

Television reporter Angela Vidal (Carpenter) and her cameraman (Harris) are assigned to spend the night shift with a Los Angeles Fire Station. After a routine 911 call takes them to a small apartment building, they find police officers already on the scene in response to blood curdling screams coming from one of the apartment units. They soon learn that a woman living in the building has been infected by something unknown. After a few of the residents are viciously attacked, they try to escape with the news crew in tow, only to find that the CDC has quarantined the building. Phones, internet, televisions and cell phone access have been cut-off, and officials are not relaying information to those locked inside. When the quarantine is finally lifted, the only evidence of what took place is the news crew’s videotape.
